Is there a specific way I should be using these volume knobs ??? I like a gritty, crunchy, clean sound. Like 70's -80's bands. Bad Co, The Baby's, Foreigner

GAIN - located before preamp. It can compensate differences between pickups. Vintage strat singles may have output signal about 160 mV, while some humbuckers can reach even 500 mV.  For clean channels it should be set as high, as possible without any distortion of the sound. For crunch and OD channels it controls the amount of distortion, set it to the value which meets your personal preferences.

VOLUME - between preamp and power amp. It doesn't influence the character of sound, only volume level. Set it for each preset to desired volume (and remember to save the preset), so you don't have to change this level when you switch form one preset to another.

MASTER VOLUME - at the and of signal chain. It controls both your guitar level and backing track played via bluetooth or AUX input. Very convinient when you practise at home one day, and play a gig another day - you don't have to modify all presets, it's enough to increase overall volume.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Both GAIN and VOLUME values are saved in the preset, MASTER is NOT saved.
