Can the foot switch be programmed to not remember settings on each channel, only the basic pre loaded ones? Meaninig that if it remembers that I had reverb on channel 2 of the clean sound, I dont want it to turn reverb on next time I cycle through to that channel.

If you have a footswitch button changing channels or modes it will remember the reverb state of which it was stored. This means it will recall whether the reverb was on or off so you would need to then switch you reverb to the desired state.
