Hello

In the manual is told not to use the Code 100 head without a speaker? Why?

I think it's not a valve amp.

Hello Martin,

Regarding your question, as it is a Class D power stage we recommend it has a load- speaker connected at all times.

Kind Regards

Hello,
this means, it´s not possible to use it with a headphone for programming at home?
Best,
Arne.

It mutes the loud speaker when the headphones are connected. - JOANNA GREEN 15 Dec 2017 at 11:21 AM
so can you use the head without a cab if you use the headphone out? also noticed on the 212 model that you can add a 8 ohm cab, but when added it shuts off the spkrs on the combo. is there a way to run both?

Hello Ryan,
We recommend that even though it cuts the speaker off the speaker is still connected, so we recommend a load is always connected. You cannot run both at the same time due impedance matching.
