I am wondering if I am able to simply rearrange the order of the pretsets on my Code 50 without necesarily cahgning the pretset itself?

There's no automatic or easy way (not as far as I know anyway).
Were I going to do this then I'd download the Marshall CODE PC Editor from the link below (note that this is NOT an official Marshall product and is therefore NOT supported by Marshall Amplification). Load a preset from the amp. then scroll to a different preset number and save. This will in effect copy the preset from its initial location to a new location and overwrite the preset in the new location. Or: you could load each preset from the amp. and save it on your PC then call up each preset from your PC and save to a new location on the amp.
