Ok im new to all of this and i now have a code 100H half stack , i do love the sound but it seems a little harsh and without buying an after market eq i was wondering is there a built in EQ for the stomp box ?
No EQ effect built into the amp. However, a lot can be achieved with the Presence. Resonance and Cabinet selections if your tone knobs are not getting you far enough in the right direction.
If your sound is harsh or trebley I would recommend dialing back the presence. If you want to add low end, turn up the resonance. And some EQing can be adjusted through which cabinet you select. For example, I find that the vintage cab settings are real mid range sounding. When I make a preset, normally the last thing I do is cycle through the cabinets to see which sounds best with what I have so far.
