I am curious about how worried I need to be when I play bass through my new Code 100 Combo.  Will I damage the speakers if I get loud?

Hi Richard,

The Code is designed for Guitar, we would not recommend running a bass through a Code, we cannot guarantee this will not damage the speaker or the unit.

So, do you guys sell Bass Modeling Amps?

We don't unfortunately, but we will pass this to our R&D team. - Lee Tomlin 29 Aug 2018 at 07:54 AM

It WILL damage the amp. It's not designed for bass. Marshall doesn't make bass amps to my knowledge.  But the bottom line....YES!!!!

It is my understanding, that plugging a speaker cabinet in, the signal will go only to the speaker cab and the two twelves will be completely bypassed. - Richard Helle 01 Sep 2018 at 12:30 AM
