Marshall DSL40CB not working

Hi,

I bought a Marshall DSL40C in 2015 and it has stopped working.

I have no sound, even though the power is switched on.

I believe the amp is within warranty.

Please let me know how I can get the amp fixed.

I live near to Bletchley and can bring the amp in.

Regards

I bought a used DSL40C that powered on, but had no sound. Tube heaters were on and all tubes were glowing. I removed chassis and replaced the blown HV (high voltage) fuse and replaced both output tubes with a matched set of JJ EL34 tubes. Amp powered on and now has sound! Tubes should be rebiased. You probably have one bad tube. Its best to replace them as a set. See if your internal fuse on printed circuit board has blown. - Michael M 26 Nov 2018 at 02:52 AM

Thanks for your reply. I took the amp to Bletchley and it was fixed under warranty within 24 hours. Amazing service. Lee even carried the amp to and from my car...I have a bad back. Excellent service, highly recommended. Thanks Marshall. - jon williamson 29 Nov 2018 at 09:26 PM
