I'm fairly certain the speakers are original because I bought the cabinet in 1975 from the original owner and he wasn't the type to change out 8 speakers for something 2 years older. In fact, when i opened the back of these cabinets, i could tell they have never been opened. All that to say, if i were going to sell them, should i say they are 1971 cabinets or 1969 cabinets? If i say 1971 cab with 1969 speakers, it will give the impression they have been changed out.... thoughts? thx! - 30 Aug 2016 at 04:43 PM

Hello,

Thank you for the photos, speaker cabinets before 1992 were not date stamped so it is hard to give an exact date of manufacture. The 100 watt 1935 was manufactured from 1971-1979.

The serial numbers on the speakers will indicate the age of the speakers which would suggest the age of the cabinet. So if you would like to supply the serial numbers ( Number required should be AA22) then we will look into this for you. - 10 Aug 2016 at 07:01 AM

Hmmm? When i look at the speaker on the sticker it says Model number G 12 M, 25 watt, 16 ohms, 75 c/s. Then it has an stamped number T1511 DB3S (That may be an inspection number). Other than that, i didn't see another number. Where would the AA22 type number be located? - 14 Aug 2016 at 06:11 AM
