Like the title says - I'm wondering if its possible / safe to run the Origin 50 head with the DI connected to a recording device and not connected to a traditional speaker load.

Thanks

Hello Tom,

Regarding your question, you must unplug the speaker lead from the amplifier which brings in the dummy load allowing you to use the DI socket without a speaker connected.

Kind Regards

hence, it is possible to make silent recordings using only the DI connection into a audio interface and also it is possible to perform live using the DI straight into a mixer which goes in a PA. correct? - Roberto ACErob71 23 Aug 2019 at 01:42 PM
