Hello everyone. I just purchased a used DSL40 today and I want to use an extended cabinet (16ohms) as well. Do I move the internal speaker to an 8ohm spot and the external cabinet to the other 8ohm spot? Thanks - Chris
I read this in an earlier post:
When using an external 16ohm cabinet with the DSL40C both speakers should be plugged into the two sockets marked 1x8 or 2x16. So, internal speaker into one of the 8 ohm sockets and 16 ohm cabinet into the other 8 ohm socket.
Rock on!
I hear creamback versions have been popular recently, but I've never tried those. Here're several useful resources:

I'd recommend going with 2 x 1 x 12. ( combo + 1 x 12 )
This will allow you to : bring both to push twice the air to out door / larger venues or bring just the combo for smaller / home use.
