Two questions:

How is impedance of a cabinet identified/determined?

And;

On a model Jmt45 O/S which speaker Jack should be used?

Thank you for your time and attention

Hello William,

The two speaker sockets on the JTM45, are wired in parrelle so if you are using one cabinet you can use either socket. The impedance of the cabinets will depend on the speakers fitted and how they are wired, for instance the 1960AX is a 4x12 has four 16ohms speakers wired in series parrelle to give a cabinet impedance of 16ohms. If you are unsure of the impedance of your cabinet we would suggest you have it measured by an engineer.

Kind Regards
