Buffered FX loop in CODE 100H?

I haven’t been able to find the answer to this via web search. Does anyone know if the effects loop in the 100h is buffered, or not?  Has anyone noticed dramatic tone loss if using 20’ send and return cables (40’ total)? Thanks!

Hello Mark,

The FX is buffered and we would always recommend using the best quality leads to can afford and as short as possible as the lengh of the lead can cause some loss in signal quality.

Kind Regards

Because of capacitance you do realise that you’re going to have some tone loss with those lengths of cable anyway???

But I don’t know if the loop is buffered or not so cannot answer you.  But would be keen to see Marshall’s response to you.

Yeah, I know. I’ll cut the cable length as necessary. A fraction of a percent of tone loss from this magic box isn’t anything I worry about. That’s what in-line boost/eq pedals are for. - Mark Solis 12 Feb 2019 at 03:34 AM

Nice to know it's buffered.
