DSL40CR with 1922 ext cab

Looking for the best way to run a 1922 ext cab rated for 8ohms and use together with the internal 16ohm speaker. Can the speaker outputs be mixed? i.e. 16ohm speaker to the 8ohm output and 8ohm cabinet to the 4ohm ouput to achieve 5.33 load?

Hello Chris,

Due to the impedance mis match we do not recommend this, you can use the DSL40CR with 1922 if you unplug the internal speaker.

I received this answer at MarshallForum.com?
There is a thread on here where santiago specifically mentions this with ANY amplifier that has multiple outs as opposed to a switch. This is why it is NOT a mismatch and why you aren't running 5.33 ohms total. You are running 16 on the 8 and 8 on the 4 which is completely fine.
He said the manuals are worded as above to make it less confusing. But this is completely fine.

Yes. I was told that is not a mismatch.
