Spilled Dr. Pepper on Code 50!

The amp was not on, nor was it plugged in, so that is good, I'd imagine. Quickly, after the spill, I turned the amp upside down and then proceeded to get the surface liquid off. Should I open it up? Should I simply let it dry next to a heat source?

Neither. The heat source can cause more issues. And opening it can cause damage. Let it dry on it's own. The liquid isn't going to be your issue. It's the Carmel, sugar, and other ingredients that cause that stickiness. And Dr. Pepper in one of the worst.....good luck. - Jamie Carter 14 Apr 2019 at 06:11 PM
