Marshall DSL40cr extension cab impedance

Hi there!

I've just bought a 2x12 extension cab which is 8ohms. Can I plug it into one of the 8ohm jacks of the DSL40cr and keep the 16ohm internal speaker connected to the 16ohm jack? I'd like to use the three speakers at the same time, is this configuration ok?

Hi Frank,

If you wish to use an extension cabinet, with your internal speaker, the extension cab speaker needs to be 16ohms, and you plug the extension cab and the internal speaker into the 2 sockets marked 1x8 or 2x16.
