Hi! I recently bought my Marshall DSL 100 HR. There is a silent recording mode. If my understanding is correct when the amp is in a standby mode only preamp section is active. Can I use my amp in standby mode for silent recording at home without a load/cab?
I would monitor it via my soundcard. Just to be clear I would not activate the 100/50 power amp section only stay in STB mode.
Could this cause any harm to the amp?
Thanks.
Hello Adam,
You can use the DSL100HR for silent recording with the standby off, but we still recommend a load being connected incase the standby is switched on
accidentally.
Kind Regards
