Dsl40cr 2 button foot switch fx loop function

I recently started using the fx loop on my dsl40cr. I found that where the amp saves the fx loop setting (on or off) for each channel, and returns to that setting when switching using the buttons on the face of the amp, the 2 button foot switch carries the fx loop setting from one channel to the other when switched. Is this normal? I've seen videos of the 6 button foot switch saving and recalling fx loop settings just like the amp does. Wondering if this is just a difference between the foot switches? Thanks very much for the assistance!

Hello Adam,

You have the 2 way footswitch then you can purchase the 6 way footswitch, so there are two different footswitches for the amplifier.

Kind Regards

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the confusion but I was wondering about the difference in function between the 2 foot switches when it comes to the fx loop. Should my 2 button switch be remembering the fx loop setting between channels or is that something that only the 6 button switch does?

Thanks again
