Sup bros and gals,
I just got a Scarlett 2i2 to start demoing and getting a hand in recording. I know I can simply mic the speaker using the microphone provided in the 2i2 studio bundle. But how can I record quickly once I move to an apartment?
Some forums say to use the Line Out or Effects SEND outputs while still connected to your speaker. Also, the Marshall Valvestate 100v M8100 is a solid-state amp so that means I don't need a dummy loader? [because I am still connected to the speaker...?]
So:
Marshall Head > Patriot Cannabis Rex 12" Speaker [usual setup]
Marshall Head > Line Out/Effects SEND 1/4in cable > Scarlett 1/4in input [with the INSTRUMENT button on] > PC laptop
Getting all the information I need before even trying it to avoid a blown transformer or anything else lolz
Thanks in advance!
