Bought used cab labeled 1960AC
S/N 1483
Green backs all labeled 12KBT 1221/18
Would like to know the age of the cab.
Since the speakers are all marked the same I assume they are a matched set???

On the speaker there should be a 4 digit number (AB26) or (26AB) this is celestion date code if you can supply us with this number we can date the speakers which will help to date the cabinet.
The code on the speaker was part of my question. (12KB) I've since learned that means Feb 12, 2000. Is that what you get? And if the speakers were made in 2000 can I assume the cab was made the same year?
