My DSL40C suddenly began a fading out static when the standby switch is enabled, or disabled. Also the volume knobs don't do anything, anymore. The gain knobs increase the volume, but there is really no gain. These problems began suddenly and together. I have new tubes on order. What is the most likely issue?

Regarding your DSL40C, it sounds as though you may have a fault in the power supply we would recommend that you have it looked at by a qualified engineer.
