CODE 25 Settings

Looking at online forums, a lot of people appear to have a hard time getting a decent sound. Here's some tips that work for me, using a strat

1. Treble on 4, for everything. Presence on 1 for clean, 0.5 for dirty. Resolution on 5

2. Bass on 4 for american clean preamp, 6-8 for all others

3. Middle on 2 for clean, 5 for dirty

4. When using the onboard distortion pedal for blues keep the drive low = 1-2. Set amp gain at about 3 or 4

Hope this helps

Thanks for the tips, they are always useful.

The one thing I will say about the Code amps is that the sound is really variable depending on the guitar you use. I have set mine up for my Les Paul and it sounds amazing, if I use the sme settings with my Stratocaster it sounds terrible. So you really have to dial in your guitar too. Having said that there are plenty patch locations so if you have different guitars you can save patches for each guitar you have so you don't have to change settings every time you change guitar.

I think this maybe is the reason why one or two Youtubers think it sounds terrible where as most think it's great.
