Emberton Bluetooth connectivity issue

There are multiple phones that use the Emberton speaker in our house. When one phone is playing music through the speaker using Spotify and another person enters the room with their phone, the speaker will always switch to their phone. It could be anything such as a video from social media. It pauses whatever the first connected phone was playing, and interrupts any music playing.

We also have an Acton speaker and have had no issues over the years. At first I thought it was a fault with the Emberton and have had it replaced under warranty. However, the new speaker is doing the exact same thing.

Anyone else experiencing this and (hopefully) have a solution?

I'm having the same issue and sadly I have no answers for you. I haven't tried replacing it yet but from the sounds of it that may not be a solution either. Shockingly bad quality, very disappointing.
