Do you mean the LCD display backlight?

Does the amp work normally apart from the light, or does it not start up (i.e. keeps resetting)?

Doesn't sound great to me. Could be a faulty power supply that keeps tripping, or could be a fault on one of the PCA's that is causing the power supply to reset whenever that board is powered up.

Hopefully it's under warranty because I suspect it will need to be looked at by an engineer.
