I bought a midi controler, but i dont have de marshall code to program the midi control
Hello,
I've finally had time to sit down and play properly with my new Code 25. There is a lot of fun to be had with this thing, however there are a few things that have became apparent with some of the models.
Pre-amp models "50s British" and "OD DSL" have really odd low frequency harmonics. To the point where both these pre amp models are pretty much unusable. The default patches that use these settings are proof of this. To me it appear that its these patches that certain Youtuber's concentrated on when bad mouthing the amp online (and I can understand why). All the models have some amounts of digital artifacts, but these 2 models are unbeleivably bad.
Power-amp model "British Class A" seems too hot to me, not that I have an expert ear, but it is almost impossible to get a clean tone with that power amp regardless of what pre-amp you put in front of it and how low you set the pre-amp gain.
?
?
?
I understand that no modelling is perfect, but in general these 3 models just don't respond the same way as the other models on the amp.
OK. I'm aware that the Code 25 is a low cost practice amp, and I am fully prepared to just pretend these models dont exist and live with the other much better models on the amp. However in the spirit of reporting issues with the potential of improving the product then if these models can be fixed in the next firmware update (if there is one) then that would be great.
thanks

Hi. Is there anyway of Marshall making a low watt emulated preamp such as the dsl 1 for the code. I was wondering if this would make my code 25 a more useable bedroom amp as at the moment even adjusting levels in app its hard to achieve usable evening sound levels.
Cheers
Hi, I’m in New York and I wanted to buy a Marshall DSL 20C, but ANY store keeps one new, so I wanted to know if you recommend me to buy a code 50, a origin 20, a dsl40c or any other?
hi .. anyone can help me to create preset "modern high gain" like jeff loomis, keith merrow sound? is it marshall code can do it???? lets share and learn . thx a lot
Hi there. I am not a native but I hope you'll be able to get me right.I have been using Dsl 15c for about 2 years and all of a sudden the amp stoped producing any sound. All controls freeze, footswitch is non responsive. Led’s and tubes are still lit. No pedals in line. I turn power switch off then on and hear sound like a relay click in the background and then sound immediately cuts out. My tech told me the problem is 99% in the microcontroller AT2313 because inside all fuses are still intact. He was able to read the code and fix errors that cut the sound out. However, it did not help because some of microcontroller ports were damaged(most likely it was a factory defect). Is it possible to re-record the code to new microcontroller or maybe there are some other options to consider?
Thanx.
I’m certain this question has been asked. I love my Code 50, I have the foot controller as well. Although I love this amp, it was a rookie purchase! I should’ve purchased the DSL 40 as a good pedal platform. ANYWAY, anyone know how to use the Code 50 as a regular amp? I apologize if this question has been asked in the past...
I was dicking about with tones, as you do, and when I meant to save my custom tone to my footswitch, and accidentally saved DSL Clean Chorus to #11 on the amp, Some Dely For You Too. This preset just happened to be one of my favorites. Is there anything I can do about it?

hey Team Marshall,
I have the foot controller and a Code 50. Dig them both, GREAT AMP!! How do I over write a stored preset on the controller. Ex: on A1 I have DSL CLEAN I want to assign the TUNER to A1 then on A2 assign DSL CLEAN.
