I have a 1990 JCM900 100w head, serial number Y24093. I know Y = 1990. What does the rest mean? Ive found nothing but Y = 1990. .  24th week? 93 made? Is there a site that deciphers the meaning of the entire serial number?

Hi, I bought a Marshall Kilburn 2 speaker from a local retailer in Vietnam. Can I check if it original or not? If yes, how can I do the check up with the serial number? Thank you for your support.

I have a Marshall Super Bass 100W amp (American Version) I've had since brand new... I had always thought it was made in 1969 tho I'm not sure...

On the Paper tag on top of the chassis it says:

"Assembly" --> Job M      No 81

"A.C" --> Andy

"Tag Board"  --> Joyce H

"Back Panel" --> l k

"Tested" -->  T-20-69  (the T could be a 1, not sure)

Serial Number: SB/A 2231A

Thanks!!!!!
