Hey everyone, I wanted to know did that happen to anybody else? Is this a common occurrence? Or are my marshalls just fake?
Hello, I have problems with my Minor 3 headphones. They are work via bluetooht, but i can't connect it to app.
When I do it, they disconnect from my phone and I need to delete it from bluetooth devices list and pair it one more time.
Somebody help me, as I know it's not only my problem.
Hello-
Bought a second-hand CODE 50 and really love its flexibility when paired with the app.
I've tried recording by mic'ing it up with a SM57 but found the cabinet/speaker to be a little rattley and couldn't determine the source.
That led me to explore USB to DAW, unfortunately my brand new, and ten year old MacBooks both do not see the amp, and I cannot update thr Firmware via browser, per the instructions.
As a last ditch effort I went 1/8th" stereo cable out to L/R RCA with 1/4" adapters to get into my DAWs LINE-INs and pan hard left and right.
Works works great, but my question is - does the CODE 50 send a stereo signal from the headphone out? -and should I be running to hard panned inputs to capitalize on a stereo image?
Also, any remedy for connecting via USB to my MacBook to at least update the firmware?
Thx!
I just did the latest firmware update on my Marshall Code 50. My headphones suddenly do not work when I plugged them into the jack. They worked prior to the update. I tested them on another amp and they worked fine. Has this been a firmware problem? Any possible solutions? Thanks.
I want to check if my marshall major IV are legit
My serial number is 73400553L23295H0052782
Hello, I would like to check my new headphones, are they original or they sold me a fake, please help. Headphones were purchased in Germany
Hello, the model is DSL40CR: thomann.de/pl/marshall_dsl40cr_cream_levant_ltd.htm
I turn on the amplifier, in STB mode the Ultra Gain LED lights up, I switch to Classic Gain and after about 3 seconds the amplifier automatically switches back to Ultra Gain. The same thing happens if I connect headphones to EmulatedOut, so I can only play on headphones on the Ultra Gain channel. However, if the footswitch connection is in STB mode, then I can play with headphones on both the Classic Gain and Ultra Gain channels. Is it normal, if there is no footswitch and I switch between Classic Gain and Ultra Gain, the amplifier automatically switches to Ultra after 3 seconds - making it impossible to play with headphones on the Classic channel. If footswitch is connected then can i play both?
Can someone check this out?
Dear fellow Marshallers,
I have recently bought a Marshall DSL15C amp for my guitar and was looking to use headphones for silent practice. I tried disconnecting the amp output on the back side of the speaker and plugging in my headphones instead - this doesn't seem to work perfectly as my headphones only play in one ear and the sound is crazy high.
Is there a good way to use headphones on this amp or do I need to buy another amp for silent practice?
Rock on,
Magnus
Hello everyone! I have a Marshall 100 HDFX head with a 4x12 cabinet and when I rehearse with my band I have the typical problem of every guitarist, I can't hear my guitar! xD The typical solution is to turn up the volume, but playing in a group if we all apply that practice will end up exploding the place. I try to use my headphones at the same time my head is outputting sound through the 4x12 but I hardly hear anything. lack of power in the headphone output? or does it not work directly?
I would like to know if anyone has tried this before and opinions on it please.
Thanks in advance :)
The output does not switch to earphones only when earphones are plugged. Both speakers and earphones still output sound. Works fine with huge headphones but wonder if theres a way for it to work with earphones/earbuds/headset too. Thanks.
Hey, y'all!
I just bought a used Lead 12 Combo (1987, I believe) which I am loving! but I'm experiencing an issue when listening through headphones which has me very confused.
If the 1/4" stereo TRS plug from the headphones (Shure SRH240) is fully inserted into the "H.P./Line Out" jack on the amp the internal speaker mutes but I only get audio from the right earphone. If I insert the plug only partway into the jack (to the first "detent") which seems to be a very popular suggestion online then I get sound from both left and right sides in the headphones but the internal speaker does not mute.
Any suggestions? And if it's an issue with the jack itself what kind of jack (Cliff? 6 prong? 4 prong? PCB or solder?) should I be looking for?
Any help MUCH appreciated, this is starting to make me crazy...thanks!
I recently purchased a CODE25 to use as a practice amp. It looked like something fun I could play around with.
The first few days it was ok as I was only using some of the factory presets. Trouble started as soon as I edited one or saved an online preset. The sound dissappeared (speaker) and the display got very faint. Restarting the amp made the display ok again but still no speaker sound. I reset the presets (hold down Amp while turning it on) and that seemed to do the trick.
But soon after the sound issue started again. I reset the amp presets, re-installed the firmware, but I only had sound for 2-3 seconds after boot, then nothing.
I have now discovered that if I plug in a headphone (which has sound) and then unplug it, I have speaker sound again. This makes me even more confused. I haven't tested long enough to confirm that this will work over time.
I see that there is a lot of posts regarding sound issues and requests for a long overdue firmware. But have anyone found out any new tricks to overcome the issues?
I sent an email to Servicedesk last week but haven't recieved a response of any kind.
Hi, I'd want to know if disconnecting the speaker on a 20w Origin head would activate the standby (so this won't damage the amp) even if then I go through the send to an audio interface and not returning to the amp through the return or anything else (and so NOT using the di out). In fact I would like to use my favorite cab+microphone+power amp simulator and then connect it to the interface and listen with my headphones on and I think it would be impossibile and harmful to the sound to add another cabinet simulation to the already-present One in the di out (right?) and so I would exit from the send.
2 another simple questions:
could i do this with a combo, too? In that case, how do I disconnect the speaker?
The last one: if I exit from the send, I'll take the preamp signal, right? And if I exit from the di out will I have the preamp signal (with the cab simulation) or will it just be the guitar signal with the cab simulation only (I assume I won't anyway have the power amp too)?
Sorry for my bad english and for the ignorance😅
After struggling for an hour with instructions in the User Manual and online Support, here's how I was able to pair my Monitor Bluetooth Headphones with a second source:
1) Turn off Bluetooth on the existing/first source.
2) Power off Monitor headphones.
3) Press and hold the Power button for ~10 seconds (in other words, keep holding after the initial "power on" tone) until you hear a second tone. The LED on the headphone will blink with a sapphire color.
4) Discover the Monitor headphones on the second source and connect.
I love my headphones, but the User Manual and on-line help are deficient on this topic.
Hi everyone,
I've a very similar question to one that has already been asked.
Is it safe to use the headphone/line out without any speakers connected to the rear on a MG100HDFX head?
Also, when I do use the speakers, do I have to use both speaker outputs at the rear or is using just one ok?
One more thing, is it safe to use my faulty G80R CD as a speaker cab with my MG1000HDFX, I'll be using nothing like full power, just having fun in my room?
Thank you in advance,
Voxathon.
The sound that a headphone, connected with the code100, produces does not include the effects that are placed in sent and return. That is really strange.
Music played with a phone or tablet that is connected with Bluetooth does go through the effects in the sent and return loop. Really strange again in my opinion.
I would like to know why it is wired this way and I would be really happy with a solution for at least the headphones!
Kind regards!
Is it possible to use headphones with the Stockwell 2? They don't work plugging into the 3.5mm AUX port, but would it work to buy a USB-C to 3.5mm jack converter?
When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack, the amp still plays out of the speaker. Is this supposed to happen? How can I disable this?
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Marshall CODE25 and I want to connect headphones, but I don't know exactly what impedance the headphones should have because in the amp's tutorial it does not specify what output the headphone connection has.
Thanks greetings.
Can I use bluetooth headphones with ampli Code 50 to play guitar and listening it? I have bluetooth headphones but don't works...
