I have an Origin 20 Combo and I just bought a new set of tubes, and I was wondering if i have to take it to a technician to bias it, or even if it needs to be biased?
THANKS
Hi,
I am a great fan of Stanmore. Just Love the sound ( balanced for all kinds of music and the best when compared to speakers of this kind) but I have seen lots of negative reviews of Stanmore not working after a year or so and week bluetooth on Amazon and Apple users.
I want to buy this system but troubled with bad reviews. Have you identified the issue and how do Marshall resolve it on speakers dying down after the warranty expires.
I am in Bangalore, India and would want the system to work at least 4 years to be a value for money.

Hi, I’m having trouble getting sound from my Marshall Code 50 amp to record on Audacity.
I am running a new, working USB B cable from my Marshall Code 50 to a Dell Latitude 7280 running Windows 10. The computer is able to detect the amp USB input, and I am using the ‘CODE 50 digtal interface’ as my default recording device on both my soundcard and Audacity, however there is no sound output coming from the amp shown on Audacity , when I try to record (sound is produced from the amp’s speakers, however Audacity is not showing or recording any sound output). I am sure that the connection is working and the amp/ computer is not faulty, as I am able to download tone presets from the MyMarshall preset page. I have tried restarting both my laptop and amp multiple times, using different cables, using different USB ports, AND have the newest 1.41 CODE software, newest Audacity software, and newest version of my Intel HD sound drivers, but to no effect. I am on the verge of going insane from this as I have being trying for over 10 hours, and have had no results. This has worked for me previously, as I last recorded to Audacity with all the same settings about a month ago, however it’s simply not working anymore. I need to get it fixed ASAP, as I am due to record tomorrow, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I find my Code 25 amp too loud at practice levels (at least for my apartment) so I have to set the Master Volume between 0.1-0.9 and in that range the Master Volume varies greatly which makes almost impossible to adjust it at the same value twice.
It will be nice if the Master knob could also be set via software so it can be saved/stored and also displayed in the amp's front panel screen, since it is very common to move the amp from one room to another and accidentally change the Master setting without knowing at what level it was previously set.
Coud be possible to add this option in a future firmware/app update?
Thanks in advance!
Another quick question:
Exactly how does the Noise Gate operate??? Not quite sure how to ask this question but here goes:
Does the Gate simply suppress ANYTHING and EVERYTHING below a certain SIGNAL level (depending on the setting) or is it able to determine the frequencies of the noise and only attentuate those frequencies (again depending on the setting)???
In other words: if you set the Gate to eliminate noise when there is supposed to be silence then no problem i.e. this works fine but you can hear the noise when you start playing i.e. it lifts with your sound. But I THINK I noticed this morning that if you set the gate higher then it seems to start seperating out the noise from the actual guitar sound (although it does alter the sound to a degree but nothing major or problematic). And it doesn't seem to affect sustain i.e. if it were merely suppressing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING below a certain SIGNAL level (depending on the setting) then it stands to reason that the higher you set it the more it will chop your sustain as the note decays and it doesn't appear to be doing this.
Hope the question makes sense.

Dale.
Hi, I have marshall code 25 and in the Pro Tools 10hd interface it does not appear.
Operating system Windows 10. Probe to connect to different USB ports and there is no solution. In the configuration of the control panel, the device is connected.
Greetings and many thanks
Sorry for my english
Hi all,
On Christmas of 2016 I was bestowed upon the mightiest of gifts. And I have enjoyed every second from that first pairing to yesterday's low battery hum.
I've arrived home from work and went to charge the headphones. To my surprise in the morning when I went to unplug them they weren't showin' off the silver/white light indicating they've charged. I tried to turn them on and they wouldn't. I then went on to again plug them in and the red light indicator showed up that they're charging. I left for work and when I got back the light was off again.
I unplugged them, tried them on and still nada.
Since then I've been trying different USB cables which work just fine on other devices and I got nothing. When I put in the 3,5 jack it plays beautifully, but I kinda need the bluetooth part for work, so I was wondering if anyone ever got that problem.
I've googled and googled and the only conclucion I've come to is that I need to have them repaired from the shop that my wife bought them from for me.
Unfortunately that would mean at least a month without them and I'm trying to discover any other possibilities before turning to that one.
Cheers in advance if anyone reads this.
You're my only hope, guys and gals, I guess.

Hi why was the code amp released when it is imposssible to get a 91009 foot swich anywhere also no covers avalible to protect said amp. I am being told up to october on the swich and who knows on the covers. can you help.
I know that the Mac version of the firmware updater is coming soon. But how will we know when new firmware updates are released? Only through the desktop software? Or will there be a notice in the iOS app? The website?
I registered my amp on My Marshall but I don"t see where it's listed. After I registered the amp I don't see it listed as part of my profile. There should be a "registered amp" tab so that I can access the serial number if I need it. Thanks.
I just purchased a new DSL100H and provided a footswitch that doesn't work. It tries to switch channels but as soon as I lift my foot the channel reverts back. The model number of the switch is PEDL-90010. I read in the manual that the switch I should've received is a PEDL-90009. They both look similar but does anyone know if that makes a difference? Thanks.
I connected my Code 50 to my laptop via bluetooth, but the my.marshall presets says "CODE not connected". I tried connecting via USB, but the amp has a goofy connector that standard USB cables do not connect to. Also - I can connect via the Gateway app on my phone, but the presets I add to My Library do not show up (even though it says that they have synced).
Hallo,
I'm going to buy a second hand Marshall DSL40C without footswitch. I realized that it is not too easy to find on the market an original footswitch (PEDL-00009). could you please tell me a list of compatible footswitch which can replace PEDL-00009 in case I don't find it?
thank you
Hey,
So I bought a 2nd hand Marshall Stanmore speaker. Speaker itself works fine over BT but the Source button doesn't work so can't switch from BT to input 1/2/optical. The button clicks and feedback as it should but no function.
I wouldn't mind if it was stuck on input 1 as that how I'll use it.
Any ideas on how to solve?
Thanks
Dear Marshall and user
I got dsl1cr today
If i want to record or practice with headphone without speaker sound
Is it possible disconnect speaker cable?
Is there internal dummy load in dsl1cr?
Fuzz pedal. I love my CODE 25, but I'm a bit surprised that a fuzz pedal was not included in the "distortion" section of the pre FX. I hope Marshall corrects this with the next firmware update.
Hello,
The manual is very sparse about this. Could you please clearly outline the steps needed to safely operate Origin 20H with no speaker connected when using DI out for recording?
Is the DI out mono unbalanced or "stereo" balanced jack socket?
Regards
Marek
Hey,
Just got a Marshall Stanmore, and when listening to calmer songs, I can hear a significant amount of distortion. Like a fuzzy overdrive.
Overall, the speaker sounds great, especially on higher volume, but I still can't get over the annoying distortion. Really low-key piano songs are virtually unbearable to listen to.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have, or should I say, HAD a Marshall CODE 50 which after 20 months of service decided to quit following a POWER SUPPLY failure. I took it to an electrical repairer for diagnosis and found out, through Marshall Australia and UK that the power supply is not replaceable because it has been suspended. No parts available. That means I now have an amp that is unfixable and never will be, even with an aftert-market power supply - which, according to Marshall cannot be retro-fitted. What a fantastic waste of money that exercise was, and I have zero warranty fall-back. Has anyone else had the same problem? Kev
