I just bought the CODE 50 and like it alot; I also have the GATEWAY APP on my phone.
(FYI: I literally must have 25-30 other Top Notch Amps- MARSHALLS / SOLDANO / HUGHES KETNNER / LINE 6 etc;
But I needed something very small for some of the tiny gigs we do; and I feel the CODE has better "Sounds" than my Fender Mustang GT - was using)
MY QUESTION:
-I just created 15-10 CUSTOM PRESETSon the CODE. They are obviously saved on my CODE 50 AMP ....as Presets 1 -25;
-BUT: HOW DO I ALSO SAVE/STORE THEM TO MY GATEWWAY IPHONE APP???!! (aka; so I don't "lose' them, in case I want to use on another Code Amp, etc.?)
(Basically I'm afraid if I do it wrong; I'll restore the Factory Presets onto my Amp and all my work will be lost!)
-AND; if I do that; will MY PRESESTS stay in my "APP"; even when the Amp is turned off and not connected to App?
Please let me know and thanks (and any other Suggestions or INTEL!)!

ELECTRIC DUDES - NY
hi
firstly, i am disappointed with the code. this amp seems like its still at test phase, its to buggy for a release. would expect marshall to only release a new product unless its 100% reliable.
connecting ios devices to code is always problematic. very unstable.
my main problem now is updating firmware. cant update in chrome. i have midi capability approved for marshall but keep getting midid disabled error even though i clearly have midi enabled.
tried opera, and the midi is working and the code is coming up as connected. i get as far as a message stating that firmware is updating with a status bar and percentage marker. doesnt update! stays at 0% and never moves. left it overnight and still 0% when i woke.
i have spent more time messing about with the problems with this amp than playing guitar. do i need to sell this and just buy a guitar interface? maybe
also, when using this amp through garageband there is no dedicated clean preset to use with garageband or other AU. basically it goes into garageband with a marshall preset and then the other AU preset is on top of the marshall preset. ideally this amp should include a straight clean unprocessed preset to work with other software AU's. i really do think people need to consider a good quality guitar interface before purchasing this amp. its very restricitve and unreliable. if you are not gigginG i dont see the point in this amp.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THE FIRMWARE ISSUE ASAP!
Having spent a week amending presets directly on the amp is there any way now to copy them to my iPhone so I can use the iPhone and not use the original factory resets ?
Hi all, hope someone can help me with this,
got my code 25 Friday, all set up starting making a few presets of my own all hooked up working fine.
been using it this evening. Working fine turned off to grab some food came back and now it won’t connect to the Bluetooth.
My phone keeps showing an error message saying it can’t connect make sure the amp is on and in range. It is and is respectively.
tried all manner of phone first then amp on and off first.
Went out the car and made sure my phone would connect to that and it did fine.
Anyone with any ideas?
i have an iPhone 7+ running iOS 11 and a code 25
like a said was working absolutely fine all weekend.
thanks
andy
Just got the amp a week ago, still playing around with it. Have iphone 7 the app wouldn't stay connected, so am using ipad air app and connection is fine. Hasn't dropped yet and reconnects when amp is turned back on no problem. The problem I do have is when I practice at night and find a setting on a preset I like, but not wanting to 'save' it yet, when I turn on the amp the next morning the app 'restarts' and setting I used the previous night is set back to the first one on the amp "Heaven" or whatever it is.
Weird thing I can use on and off throughout the day, turn amp on and off, and everything is as I left it, no problem, both app and amp. The problem seems to happen overnite, the next day the app links up to the amp and it goes back to the first preset, Heaven, when I want to have it as I left it the night before. Is this an amp setting, an app setting or am I too stupid to figure it out. Logic would be if I turn off and back on during the day and my last setting is there as I left it the same should happen when I turn it on in the morning. Note: I'm new to this amp and don't want to edit or save presets yet, and would like to avoid for time being.
thanks!
100 presets is more than the avaerage human brain can handle, 5 +/- 2 is the old adage. The Gateway app when active and syncing with the amp displays "Tap to sync" after the first few preset entries. So you can't efficiently scroll through the presets. Is there a preset listing anywhere on the Marshall Website a customer can print out?
In a future release of the ios app the presets managed by group such as a catagory/folder entry would be nice, e.g. Metal, Clean, Rock, etc ...
Thanks
