Why in the world would Marshall advertise right on their site for the code amps that you can record the code amp into your DAW, but not provide an asio driver? This is false advertising. Yes there is asio4all, it is not for a Marshall per se, and it doesn't work real well, it only records at 48khz, most daws will go to 96k, if not all the way to 192K? What gives Marshall? Plase put out an Asio driver for this otherwise great product. please. It can't be that hard if you can write the"code" for this amp. You are relly missing the boat here guys

I purchased a Marshall CODE 100H + 212 Cab recently.

I downloaded the Marshall Gateway app and have created a My Marshall account.

The Amp came pre-loadedwith a 100 presets.

The Marshall Gateway app also came pre-loaded with 100 presets,

but the Gateway app presets are different from the ones in the amp.

I synced the 100 presets in the Gateway app to my "My Marshall" account Library.

I have edited and saved some of the Presets on my Amp.

I want to transfer the edited Presets on my Amp to my "My Marshall" account Library, and then put them in my Gateway app,

How do I Transfer a Preset FROM my CODE Amp to my "My Marshall" account Library?

I see the option to transfer a Preset from My Library to the Amp,

and I understand how to manage / organize the Gateway app presets from the Library,

but I don't see a way to put a Preset on the Amp in the Library.

Do I have to manually re-create it in the Library?

The My Gateway online interface is  great for managing / organizing the Gateway app presets from the Library.

It would be useful if there was as similar interface for managing / organizing the presets on the Amp, when connected via USB.

I was just wondering if Marshall is working on a new firmware update for the code series amplifiers and if so when could we expect it to be released?

Hi.

Anybody around here with a JCM800 head that would care to comment on the below???

I am having issues with noise on the CODE amps. when I use the JCM800 PRE-AMP i.e. it's REAL bad (in my opinion) and I'm just wondering: does a REAL JCM800 have high noise levels???  I had an (original) JCM800 back in the '80's and I don't ever remember it having noise like the CODE JCM800 modelling.

Regards,

Dale.

Hello

I've recently purchased the Code100H & Code412

I'm not a guitar player by any stretch of the imagination, I got them because they look nice under/on my desk; it was an aesthetic choice and I use it to play music from my PC via AUX input.
(I don't expect Hi-Fi playback, I understand its limitations when it comes to playing music on mono :) I got it for looks and I'm perfectly satisfied with my decision)

Regarding this statement
"the CODE412 is fitted with custom speakers specially made to manage the variety of tones available in CODE amps"

I have the following question
Can you please tell me what type(model) of speakers does the cab use and if it's safe to play mild bass music on it at a decent volume(30-50%) without straining the speakers?
I only want to be sure I'm not harming the speakers when I listen to something like Royal Blood - I Only Lie When I Love You for example.

Looking forward to your reply.

Cheers,
Adrian

Hello, I have acquired the CODE 25, really an excellent amplifier, very versatile and very good presets. My problem and please I hope you help me to resorve it, is that even though I can connect via Bluetooth, I can listen to my tracks ....... the big problem is that when I want to use the FX or presets it appears that there is no amplifier connected ... (either from my android phone or my Ipad I ... I do not understand what the problem is.) Secondly, when I want to install the MARSHALL FIRMWARE UPDATE UTILITY, to enter presets or update the ampli, does not recognize the connection.I request guidance to be able to make full use of such a beautiful tool for my music.I use Widows 10 and G. Chrome. For your attention, thank you very much

Hi I play a fender strat and I have a Marshall Valvestate VS65R and was about to sell the amp online because I purchased a Marshall Code 100 earlier in the year. I have already received the money for the Valvestate via Paypal. Just before I was about to post it - the buyer lives on the other side of the country so I was going to post it (he has paid quite a decent amount for it and has also paid for postage) - I decided to play through it one more time. I found that the sound was really good and I am now hesitant to send it (I can still reverse the payment - it was not sold on ebay or similar so I can back out). The issue being that I cannot find any preset online or already installed on the Code 100 that matches or even resembles the Valvestate sound. I did have a slight noisegate issue with the Valvestate a while back but now that seems to not be noticeable. I hadn't played the Valvestate for about 6 months until now. I searched this website's presets using the keyword "valvestate to no avail. Then searched the website https://marshallcode.tools/patch/?__p=1 for a preset that has the word valvestate in the name but got to about page 18 and could not find one. However there are so many pages on that website, hundreds, so maybe there is a valvestate replicating preset? The closest I could find amongst the factory presets on the Code 100 is something like a JCM800. Does anyone know if a valvestate modelling preset exists for Marshall Code? Please someone help, time is of the essence. The customer will want me to send it soon, I have max 48 hours to figure this out.

Hey guys

I'm trying to figure out how to use tap tempo on the footswitch with my marshall CODE amp.

As I understand it, I should be able to "stomp" in the tempo of my delay via the footswitch.

I have no idea how to do this though.

Please help

Thanks

So I recently posed the question about using stomp boxes with my CODE 50. As I am looking theough the preset Library, I notice presets labeled PEDAL 1, 2, 3 and MAX. Are these presets for users to utilize stomp boxes??? I’ve had my 50 for 7 months now and this JUST NOW dawned on me!!

I’m certain this question has been asked. I love my Code 50, I have the foot controller as well. Although I love this amp, it was a rookie purchase! I should’ve purchased the DSL 40 as a good pedal platform. ANYWAY, anyone know how to use the Code 50 as a regular amp? I apologize if this question has been asked in the past...

Hi

Currently running my Code100H through the matched 4x12 cab but find, at volume, the sound a bit 'harsh'? i've actually plugged it through a spare bass cab and get far better tone! is anyone else experiencing this and are there any solutions? am i missing a trick?? i'm possibly looking at plugging it through a 1936v 2x12 cab. I know i will need to turn the cab selection off on the amp but just want a better all round tone..

I was able to bluetooth my IPod with the CODE amp, but it doens't work on Marshall Gateway.

I tried to connect them doing this way : Menu - Touch bluetooth icon.

I'm actually connected with my CODE amp, but this app couldn't detect the thing, saying 'Not connected'.

I scanned few times, so that my IPod can detect amp, but it didn't work.

I'm asking for help :(..

I've noticed that my amp makes a fizz noise in any volume even without any cables pluged in.

Another people here already complain about this issue, it seems like a design problem.

Is there a way to solve that?

Thank you.

I've been playing Marshall amps for years now and I've bought new and used, traded for them, traded them away for other stuff, and Marshall USED TO SUPPORT us out here in the REAL WORLD that keep their amps going and keep playing them by making the owners manuals available on the website and making the website easy to navigate but now it is a complete disgrace!!!!!  How F***ing hard is it to keep the owners manuals linked to an easy to locate section UNDER what USED TO BE CALLED "SUPPORT"!!!  It is not very hard at all.  The only manuals I can navigate to are the CODE amps.  You should be proud to support your vintage amps and keep the manuals fully available online for your time honored and time tested LOYAL CUSTOMERS who continue to use Vintage or Older Model Marshall Amps.  Your Website sucks now and is extremely limited.  I realize you want to keep your current products out there and is no way you can continue to host all of your product specs and info on so many models over the years, but YOU COULD continue to maintain the ONE page in a SUPPORT section that details where to download your DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS and simply throw all of those PDF files into a folder and link it to your SUPPORT page so we can continue to download the manuals easily ourselves without any assistance from you guys.  It doesn't take up that much disk space and is not very hard at all to encode that back into your page.  I am SURE that I am not the only one here that is completely frustrated that Marshall Customer Support appears to have gone to hell and you don't seem to care about your customers any longer or you want to SELL us a manual to get more money out of us.  This is CRAP!  You need to FIX THIS and I guarantee you that Millions of Marshall USERS will thank you!  Let's get back to putting the Customer FIRST folks!

Will Marshall provide a way to increase the headphone volume as is very low against all other devices we use such as iPhones, PC DAWS etc, so makes it very difficult to practice without disturbing the household and neighbours...
