Hi

My dsl 20hr is a great sounding amp, I have just started using the supplied footswitch, but noticed a problem. The tone changes when footswitch is plugged in, the tone is clearer, slightly louder. When unplugged the tone goes slightly darker. Also when plugged in the tone is better, more crunchy. But when I engage the fx loop, again the tone darkens, as if throwing a blanket over the speakers. I run a delay and reverb in the loop, checked all cables etc all fine. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Looking at purchasing an ‘89 2205 head this week but not sure if it comes with footswitch. Please can anyone advise which model of footswitch is compatible with this amp?

Is there any option to change volume with the PEDL 90008 ?

I know that it is possible to change volume by editing different presets.

But I want to know if there is a way to change the volume with other methods.

Would be great if there were an FX  to change volume in switch mode.

I just got a Code 4 button footswitch for my Code50 amp but it does not do anything. No lights, nothing.  Do I need to do anything to the amp to get it going?

Hello,

Does anybody have a clue when this Footswitch will be available in Australia??

If you don't know or the answer is NEVER, does any have an idea of another footswitch that will do the same job on my DSL40?

Thanks

I'm thinking to buy an amplifier wich is relatively low cost, and the vs100H seems to be a good candidate.

Since I'm looking for the possibility of having a 3 way pedal switch:  clean, rhythm and lead, and the vs100 has 3 channels, I was asking myself if it auctually supports a 3 way led pedal like the MRMPM3E, or the MR-PEDL00021??

Any help would be appreciated :).

Any suggest of another low budget but good sounding amplifier would be appreciated too!

Was curious if the footswitch on this is a short to sleeve connection.  Going to use a headrush gigboard with it using the 4CM but also want to contral the channels much the like the included footswitch does.

Hello,

I have a Marshall Code50 amp and I purchased the optional footswitch with it. Lately it is doing some pretty crazy things. I could be in bank B1, but when I tap B2, B1 will start flashing in the window and then start scrolling up the alphabet by itself (C1, D1, E1, etc.). Sometimes I do a light tap to change banks but it goes into switch mode instead. Other times it seems to be working normally, but when I look back down the bank will be flashing. Selecting another bank (or exit) doesn’t have any affect and the only way to reset is to unplug the footswitch and plug it back in.

This has started happening on a daily basis. What’s going on?

Thanks,

Hi all

I bought a Code 25 and looking into possible solutions for a footswitch.

I only really need to change between two channels (or presets in case of a modelling amp). Basic functionality.

Has anyone used any other footswitches with a CODE, Marshall or other brands?

thanks!

Hi. I recently purchased a DSL40 CR and am wanting the 6 button footswitch so I can use all of the amps capabilities. Is the PEDL 91016 available yet in the US? My local Marshall dealer says that these have been back ordered for months. Currently they are telling me there is a 2 to 3 week shipment delay. What is the availability of these?

I accidentally plugged my footswitch into input for guitar. What could've happened to the FS? It seems like it doesn't work. Thanks

Hello,

My footswitch stopped responding under the following scenario.

Marshall Code 50

Four button footswitch

Macbook pro connected via USB

Sound output set to Marshall Code

Playing Youtube videos through the amp and playing along

After a while, the footswitch stopped responding. I couldn't change banks or position within a bank.

Unplugging the USB cable seemed to get things going but footswitch stopped responding again shortly after.

Turning the amp off an on again resolved the issue.

I was wondering if the creator of the KASHMIR preset would be interested in also creating the FLANGER part for KASHMIR using all the current preset settings (amp, cabinet, speaker etc) as a complimentary preset for the turnaround section of the song.  I believe, from forums, that a preset will switch better (Marshall CODE footswitch) if the preset has the same amp, speaker and or cabinet setting as it takes away the millisecond delay of switching between amps in a particular preset.  Look forward to your answer and or creation of said beasty.

Regards Kev

I sent my footswitch into our local repair shop a few years ago and they wired a new cord on. It has since had the 1/4” jack ripped off by accident.  I bought a replacement jack, but don’t know what part each of the four wires connects to in the jack. Thanks in advance!

Hello.  I have a Marshall Code 100 Head, 4 12 cabinet and the 2 12 combo amp.  Absulutely love these amps.  I also have the 3 way footswitch.  What I can't figure out, is how to be able to turn off and on the REVERB from the foot pedal.  Is there a way for this?  It defaults to allow you to access the Distortion, Modulation and Delay but what about the reverb?  Any ideas?

Thanks, Larry

Hi,

I bought a MG30FX with footswitch. I was convinced I could set 4 channels the way I wanted and simply controlling them with the footswitch.

Well maybe it’s my fault but it doesn’t work that way. You control the first two sounds with the 1 button, you control the second two sound with the second. Button 3 is the same as the 2 and If I press the 4 it appears the tuner.  It’s very limiting considering I wanted 4 indipende choices of my own style.
