My footswitch stopped responding under the following scenario.

Marshall Code 50

Four button footswitch

Macbook pro connected via USB

Sound output set to Marshall Code

Playing Youtube videos through the amp and playing along

After a while, the footswitch stopped responding. I couldn't change banks or position within a bank.

Unplugging the USB cable seemed to get things going but footswitch stopped responding again shortly after.

Turning the amp off an on again resolved the issue.

if i use a clean preset of the marshall code 100H i got issues with crackling sounds. Even after turning it off and on. Its extremly annoying and it destroyes all that i record into my DAW. With this crackling sounds this Device is absolutly useless!! I've also updated to the latest Firmware version but nothing changed!

How can I update firmware when I don't have USB port on my Marshall speaker

I’m looking into getting a new IPad and I was curious if I can use GarageBand as my software and record direct from the USB port on my Marshall code 25 to record? Or should I spend the money for a new Mac book or Mac laptop will either of those work?

Cable plugged in to both computer and Code 50. Display shows 'Ready for Update' - but neither the browser or Desktop Utility will connect.

Rebooted everything and tried from laptop. Same results. What's wrong?

Why can we not update via bluetooth connection rather than USB cable?

I think I might have tossed out my USB cable by accident! I cannot find any place to order a replacement one, not even on Marshall's web site.

Hey Marshall, you ahve my email, why not tell me how much and where to pay so I can get a replacement and update my Amp!!!!

I just got around to updating the firm ware on the code 100 thought as long as i had the amp connected to my pc via the usb cable I would check out the code editor and it would not respond looked at the manual casually and did not notice any mention of how to connect

dos this need to be acomplished using a midi to usb cable

conecto no notebook, acesso o programa de atualização mais o mesmo diz que amplificador não esta conectado.

Já troquei diversos cabos USB e nada acontece.

On my Android device Samsung Galaxy 8+, Software version G955USQU5DSDA.  The Gateway crashes whenever I attempt to import music.

On my iPad Pro  (9.7-inch), Software version 12.3.1,  The Gateway refuses to load music.

Any help, clarification, or a suggestion of a solution, (is there a particular program that works well to assist the import of music into this app on either platform)? 

I also have a PC running WIndows 10 Pro x64, with an i7 and 32GB of RAM, is there any work around involving any particular DAW that allows this?

how do I upload my preset? I cant find any info to get my settings that I had on the amp. I saved the preset on the amp side and connected to the browser with usb. all good on my end I just cant find how to upload my preset and share it with everyone

I want to know if we can change the USB code frequency. Its 48000 hrtz how to change it to 44100 ?? Best regards

I'm using USB on my Mac and the Mac sees the Code and allows me to set the speaker to it.
When I pull up a Youtube video and start it the video will play for about 5 seconds and then halts.
It's almost like something else is intercepting it. It basically locks up and I have to close the browser.

Same issue when using the Code 25 as input device on Mac for Garage Band. It recognizes it but when I record
upon playback the sounds are scratchy and unusable

This Code 25 works on my Windows Machine both ways as Input and Output device flawlessly

I have installed the latest firmware so that is not the issue.

Any ideas on what it might be causing the problem on the Mac?

bonjour, j' ai une tete marshall code 100 et je voudrais m enregistrer maisje suis nul en informatique. j' ai relié ma tete marshall à mon pc en USB, mais ensuite, que faire ?  Je dois télécharger un logiciel DAW ? ( gratuit si possible ), et après, quelles manoeuvres à faire ?

Si quelqu un peut m aider ce serai génial, des explications simples et très précises svp...Merci d' avance.

I purchased CODE 50 and I would like to recording.

I aware ASIO4all is recommended however, youtube (/ or media player in my deskteop computer) is not available during DAW is lauched.

Thus, I am wondering for direct recording without DAW through just audio interface.

       1. I have audio interface with two (2) input manufactured by Kurzweil company.

            Via headphone (line out) of CODE, can I connect this audio interface ? If, so, INPUT connetion or headphone out in Audio interface ?

           No damage to CODE ?  (In internet post, I read CODE probably can be damaged if connected to Audio interface. I am not sure)

I had assumed that this was the maximum sample rate, not the only one. In practice it seems that it is 48kHz-only. Am I correct?

Hi I have a CODE 100 half stack (100H + 4x12 cab) AND a CODE 100 2x12 combo, which just arrived today.

I was expecting the two CODE amps to work together on USB, so I can get 2 guitar traces into my Mac in parallel. Unfortunately I'm disappointed to see that Mac will only see ONE CODE at a time. Looks like they both have the same device ID which creates issue on the bus?

Is this an actual bug? If so, please remove this limitation via firmware update because it would definitely make sense to have more than one CODE connected to the computer without needing additional hardware such a sound interface.

Please let me know asap thanks.
