Hi,

I have a DSL40CR - great amp- but sometimes the reverb is gone all of a sudden. When I swith off the amp and turn it on, the reverb is again audible. I use the 6-way footcontroller for switching channels. Any ideas? The amp hasn´t  any others issues.

I'm getting the impression, the tech I'm dealing with thinks I or my settings could be the cause, due to the fact I guess this is the second time within a year I've had this problem. I don't push the amp hard. It's in a 10 x10 room I converted to a studio for recording. Maybe you would be so kind as to help me again. My current settings for volume are:
Overdrive channel Gain is @ 2 Volume is at 75%. On the clean/crunch channel the gain is at 8 and the volume at 75%. The masters are both at about 2. This gives me a good tone at a low volume. In the small room, it's in turning the masters up even to just 5 would require ear protection.
The question is are theses settings pushing the power or preamp tubes to the point that would shorten their lifespan?

Hi,

Got my amp a week ago, set it on a sturdy table, plugged it in, and it cranked. Played all week, having a great old time, but last night I plug in, and it's just not very loud? What did I do? I haven't touched anything but the power switch. Room's warm, I let the it warm up [got a little too warm maybe]. Anyway I'm on clear channel and have all the knobs maxed, and it just sounds, average, low, like a background sound. So strange. I'm not too crazy about tearing into an amp I just got a week ago, nor am I hyped to haul this thing to a Post Office either. Please tell me there's a magic button or that I did something stupid.

I have an Origin 20 Combo and I just bought a new set of tubes, and I was wondering if i have to take it to a technician to bias it, or even if it needs to be biased?

THANKS

I had a problem less than a year ago. I heard a light popping sound, then another then no sound. The amp was repaired under warranty.  I was setting up to record. I turned the amp on, tuned up while I wanted for the tubes to warm up and when I brought the amp out of standby I heard that familiar pop. Kind of like a lightbulb popping. I have had tube amps in the past and never had to replace tubes so regularly. Is this an issue with this model Marshall?

I was wondering what Marshall foot switch I could use and if it is still available?  If not, do you know of any aftermarker ones on the market?

Thanks

Hi, Do someone know if the "custom voiced" speakers on a CODE 4x12 8ohm cabinet are the same as in the mg412a cabinet ? The mg cab is loaded with celestion g12-412mg 8ohm speakers that look like celestion rocket 50 but seem to be rated at 30 watts ... because the cab is rated 120w... some AVT cabs are loaded with celestion g12-412avt and some with celestion rocket 50 but AVT cabs are 16ohm (maybe the cause of suffixes change on the g12..) I've browsed  the celestion website to find some answer and the only one that had the same magnet is the rocket 50 and is rated to 50 watts... i would like to know what kind of speakers are on the CODE cab and if the mg412a cabinet sounds about the same as the CODE 412 cab with a CODE 100h head ...i don't like the format of the CODE cab...but want to keep all the tone modeling capabilities of the CODE 100w head

My Amp came with a registration card and at the top "Register online at www.marshallusa.com/warranty".  This page does not exist nor does www.marshallusa.com.  What is the proper method for registering?    This sort of lessens the Marshall Experience,  Dont you think?

Is it recommended that the outside (tolex?) of this combo amp be cleaned periodically? If so, using what? Leather cleaner/conditioner? Armour All? Pledge? Something else?

Guys -

You need to get someone to fix the Bluetooth capabilities with this product line, like, yesterday. I updated the firmware yesterday, which was extremely difficult to do in the first place, uninstalled / reinstalled the Gateway app today, and still cannot connect to the amp except via my phone's native Bluetooth options to use it as a speaker. I am running ios 13.3.1.

I've scoured your web site, I've watched your videos, I've been all over Google and Youtube, and I am nowhere. In addition, I'm legitimately concerned by other reviews that the amp is simply not going to sound as good given I've updated the firmware. Will post again if that's the case.

I will see if I can push new presets to the amp via a hard connection to my PC, but you need to do serious damage control on this product line considering your leading selling point has proven to not work as intended, if at all.

For all you that have issues connecting amp with Gateway app (even though it's connected to your phone already) clear out all of your old bluetooth pairings (headphones, portable speakers, etc..).   That worked for me after screwing around for 30 min.

Hi, guyz!

I wanna buy some good headphones for using with my Code, but I don't know the best suitable impedance. Didn't find some tech information in specs T_T.

I think, Beyerdynamic DT 770 will be a great choice, but 80 or 250 Ohm?

Hi.

At the beginning I want to point out that I am a beginner.

I have marshall code 25 and would like to connect a g3n zoom to it. Can anyone help me and describe what should be all settings on the amplifier to be clean. And the effect was from zoom. Should all knobs be screwed on? . As if someone were nice and described to me every setting I would change to, I would be grateful.
