Is this the serial number? I believe the last two digits are the manufacturing date? Can you give some details about this amp based on the serial number. I bought it without a box. I want to register it, I need the exact amp model. eg. "dsl40c -u"

Regarding your question the last two digits is the manfacturing date, so yours is August 2016. If you can let me know where you are based i can tell you where to register the amplifier.
