Code 100 Combo jack socket and USB socket have become loose

Hi Marshall,

I have a Code 100 Combo amp which is now out of warranty as was purchased in 2020.

The guitar jack socket and usb connector socket appear to have sunk a bit so am struggling to connect my guitar or to my pc.

What could have caused that as have not used any excessive force when plugging my guuitar lead in and the USB cable has been plugged in for ages as is in my practice room?

Can I attempt to fix it, if so how do I open the back, does it use an allen key as doesn't look like phillips screws?

Where in the back should I be carefull to avoid to not get a shock (even though the unit is fully unplugged from the mains?

On checking your Service Manual for this amp it appears that the Jackplug and USB sockets are attached to the DSP PCB PCBA-90033. Is this board screwed on to the top panel or does it clip in via pins on the daughter board so may need to be re-seated? - Michael Lawson 01 Aug 2024 at 08:08 AM
