Thank you. We use the amp all day in the studio and when recently serviced technicians said it looked like it was overheating. - Stephen Galvin Last Name 29 Nov 2018 at 10:43 AM

Hello Stephen,

We have never had a problem with overheating on the JVM410C, if you feel that yours is overheating it may be faulty and we recommend that you have it looked at by an engineer.

Kind Regards

Hello Marshallers,

We notice the 410C valves are lasting about twelve months. Is that normal?

Also we note that our AVT275 which is physically the same size yet has only one valve yet has a grille on the top of the cabinet presumably to allow heat to escape.

Has your team modified the JVM410C with a grille and what is your opinion of this modification?

Please be candid.

Thank you

Mr. Galvin

Hello Stephen,

We do not carry out any modifications on our amplifiers so cannot comment on adding a top grill on the JVM410C for ventilation purposes, the length of the valves lives depend on the amount of usuage the amplifier has.
