I recently started using the fx loop on my dsl40cr. I found that where the amp saves the fx loop setting (on or off) for each channel, and returns to that setting when switching using the buttons on the face of the amp, the 2 button foot switch carries the fx loop setting from one channel to the other when switched. Is this normal? I've seen videos of the 6 button foot switch saving and recalling fx loop settings just like the amp does. Wondering if this is just a difference between the foot switches? Thanks very much for the assistance!
i would like to connect my old Turntable to Stanmore2. I have an old Amplifier (the same chain of Turntable and CD Reading) but i suppose that i have to connect also a new Pre-Amplifier.
What is a correct configuration? Something like this?:
If i buy a new Pre-Amplifier i could remove my old Amplifier from my chain?
I just bought a Code. I can connect via bluetooth however it won't download any patches because it says it's not connected even though it is. I bought the USB #2 cable (that doesn't come with the amp) and the amp still says it's not connected to my computer even though it is. Other modeling amps don't have this issue. Marshall, you REALLY dropped the ball on this amp.
I would like to know the name and year of the 14 preamp, 4 poweramp, 8 cab modeling in the code 50
My buddies and I were at a lakehouse a few weeks ago and one of my friends had this speaker. I was blown away at how clean and crisp it was as far as the bass and the sound quality overall. I'm aware that this has to be plugged into an outlet in order to play, correct? Also, the other thing that I'm making sure of is that it's specifically the "stanmore" speaker that I'm looking at? Is that the correct one that is a plugin and has a hell of a lot of sounds to it? I'm looking at getting the all black or the normal black one.
How to add song from Spotify so you can adjust tempo.
Yesterday the power light on my DSL 40 went off, then came back on, then off again. It's been doing the same today.
Apart from this, the amp is running fine with great sound and all the other lights still working.
Is it just a bulb issue? And if so, how do I go about fixing this?
So far I'm in love with it but there's been a bit of a learning curve for me with this being not only my first tube amp but the first amp where I've actually had to dial in my own tone (my first amp was a Line 6 Spider III, yeah go ahead and boo, I was in high school and wanted all the bells and whistles). So does anyone have any settings the personally u se on this amp for Hardcore and Metal? I've had mild success setting everything to noon and adjusting from there but it'll take some time to really train my ears. 192.168.1.254
Guys i want to buy a tube amp. It will be my first one. My options, second hand dsl40c special vintage edition for 500usd (old dsl series from 2015 i think), dsl20cr brand new for 570 usd and dsl1h brand new for 430 usd. I am full time home user and a high gain player. No band, no gigging. My thoughts; dsl40c would be overkill. I want dsl20 actually, because it has fx loop, presence and resonance knob, a nice power soak circuit and el34 power tubes. And for dsl1h, i can get vintage 30 cab directly but as cons, ecc82 power tube and limited knobs. (I have to say i liked its sound according to ola englund's will it chug video). Never heard live all of them. Never had a tube amp. Can you please share your opinions. Thank you so much, have a nice day!https://essaywriter.fun/ https://solitaire.onl/ https://testmyspeed.onl/
I would like to know if some of you have experienced the Code Editor software available on marshallcode.tools, working on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 or other, and how you did.
I have tried with Wine, but it doesn't work...
Many thanks in advance,
Please help. I need a Marshall CODE25 user manual in Polish.
Please link to the instructions.
Would this footswitch work with this combo amp?
I would like some opinions on speakers to make this amp roll on Southern Rock and Blues. Thanks for your input. Peace!!!!
Early last month I bought myself a Marshall Code 25 amp. It's supposed to replace my old Line 6 Pod 2.0.
The Marshall Code amp came delivered with a dent on the bottom. Also, and this is important, when turning the amp I can hear a small item inside it roll. At the same time I could also hear a larger object slide.
So I thought this was probably due to heavy handling by the delivery company, so I sent it back.
A week or so later I recieved a brand new one. This time no dent, the unit seems undamaged at first sight. However. The exact same rolling and sliding as I described earlier is happening inside the amp. Is this supposed to be normal? That would be one hell of a coincidence.
As I am a starting guitarist, I've been playing less than two years, I can't say that I'm impressed with the sound I get from the Code amp.
Whenever I increase bass, let's say over 5.5, the amp sounds really bad. I hear cracks, fuzz, ... It really breaks the vibe.
As I also don't have the best of guitars and I'm probably a poor judge in terms of audio quality, I can't say for certain that it's the amp. However, the quality I got from the old Line 6 pod 2.0 is clearly better. Not a whole lot better, but better none the less.
So. Is my Code amp damaged or something?
Hello, I just bought the CODE25 amplifier but I need the user manual in Spanish, how can I get it?
I want to buy a Marshall Stanmore 2 for bluetooth streaming and use the RCA input for my amplifier (to listen to vinyl). My amplifier is producing the following output: 4 x 75 watts / 4 ohms, 4 x 40 watts / 8 ohms. Does the stanmore handle this as input (via RCA)? The bluetooth purpose is descriped clearly.
I dont know why you removed the feature of turning off the standby mode. It was a terrible decision. We need smart devices and not dumb ones. You really expect me to press a button on the speaker every time I use it after 20 minutes? Please update the app and firmware so we can enable turning off this stupid feature.
if i download a user preset to my code 50... and i dont like it... how can i delete it once its on my amp? further i do not want to delete any FACTORY presets.. just user presets that i find here on mymarshall.com
any help would be greatly apperciated!
Hi, I have an old 50 watt JMP 2x12 combo. I wanted to see if I could find out the year and model number. The serial number just says 01915J. There isn't an S or S/A in front of it, which I gather is just worn off or something. Are you able to tell me what amp this is? Thanks!
