I was wondering why the master volume 2 doesn't completely turn off until amp has been on a while but master 1 does straight away

From your description it sounds as though the master volume pot may be faulty, we would recommend that you have it looked at by an engineer. If you would like us to look at for you then please contact our returns department on 01908 375411.

I’ve never had any problem with the master 2 knob going all the way off, sounds like you have a potentiometer problem. Better get a hold of Marshall like the dude says.
