Noise coming from presence control when turned, no crackle but something like a dirty pot? Its not the hiss you get when volume is turmed up.

I should have mentioned the amp is brand new and has had this scratchy sound with the presence knob since I received it a week ago.

Hello Joseph,

Due to the amplifier being based on the original lead amplifier, the presence pot will make a noise when being turned as did the orignial this is not a faulty pot. If you are unhappy with the product we recommend that you contact your dealer.

Thanks for the reply, love the amp sounds great. I had to ask about the presence control swoosh sound because I have not heard that sound on the presence control on any other amp and I have never owned a plexi. Had to make sure this was normal.
