Is the fan meant to be as noisy as it seemingly is? Not a noise like its bumping or scraping but more one of high velocity and a desire to seemingly take off. Its making this power amp near enough useless for home use which is what I bought it for!

Regarding your 20/20 the noise should not be noisy, the bearings could be going on the fan causing the noise so we would recommend that you have the fan replaced.
