DSL20 - FX LOOP

Hi,

I bought a DSL20, and since I have installed 2 pedals throught the FX loop, I got an issue with the sound that drop down, becomes muffled and dull. When I switch off the fx loop, the sound becomes normal and clean.

I didn't have this issue when I had a KORG Pandora multieffects on the FX Loop instead of my 2 news pedals (TC electronic chorus and MX delay).

Could you give me any information,

I'd read somewhere about the FX loop being in a strange place in the circuit. Turns out it is. I always run a clean boost pedal in the loop to get a volume boost for leads. When I'm on the dirt channel of the DSL20, none of the boost pedals I use with any of my other amps give me a volume boost, just more saturation and sustain. Not sure but it looks like the loop might be placed before the channels' gain controls. - 22 Dec 2021 at 07:56 AM
