Yes, the tuner in CODE series amps is useless... :-(
Yes, it's always been terrible, not accurate and slow to respond. It's just in there for marketing reasons I think.
I haven't tried the tuner on the app since it's been updated. Maybe thats better now.
You are better having a clip on tuner anyway, cheap, accurate and convenient as it's always right there.
