Code 50 getting power, but no sound.

My Marshall CODE 50 is getting power and display is on, but not making any sound. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting guitar cables and used two separate guitars, both same result. Hooked the guitar up to another amp to make sure it was not the guitar and the instrument worked. Issue seems to be with the CODE 50 itself. What steps do I need to take to trouble shoot?

Can you hear ANYTHING from the speaker if you raise VOLUME and MASTER VOLUME level?

Did your amp ever work properly?

Are you sure your guitar is connected to instrument input, not to footswitch one? Sorry for this question, bu you probably don't even expect how many problems on this forum was caused by this reason... :-)

Hello

Do you get sound out of the headphone socket or USB audio?

If so it may point to a problem with the power amp or speaker.

If you don't get anything then try resetting the amp, maybe reinstall the latest firmware (if possible).
