Wondering how to turn off whatever it is in the amp that is receiving an AM radio station.

Its probably not your amp but your power supply to your pedal board or if you're in an old house and it has old wiring that can do it too. Even an old guitar with single coil pickups can pick it up if the signal is strong enough. Unless you trouble shoot everything, you won't know. If it turns out to be the amp and you isolated everything else out. then its something wrong with the amp. It should not do that. - Floyd Benson 26 Mar 2024 at 10:58 PM

Unplug the guitar cable from the amp, if the radio interference goes away then the issue is with your cable or your guitar.
