When I hold down footswitch 1 to access the turning on/off of my compressor it doesn`t work anymore. It does this in all banks and patches yet worked perfectly previously. I`ve only had it a week so is it faulty or can I resolve this please?

If after restart footswich working good that's can be problem with cable. I had the same problem And after cable change footswich works well. Check it.
Try to restore factory set up maybe And start once again.
