Good day, I have been trying to download the Gateway app for Android, but it no longer appears on the Play Store (on any of the devices I've tried searching from). Please advise if it has been discontinued?
I sideloaded Gateway v2.1.7 from APKPure
I am surprised at the lack of any information on this issue. Marshall is a well established company with great products but to simple remove an integral part of using a $300+ amp without any notification, work around or support is crazy. Especially since it is still part of their product line!
Not a good look when y'all are at NAMM introducing new products. The support for Code amp and Gateway app has been ok since I have owned the Code 50 beginning in 2018. The Amp itself is awesome and app has gotten better over time.
The Gateway software is a key vital component and I pray it is supported and update regularly for years to come. For if an Amp company of Marshall's stature is going to sell Smart Amps that basically require an app to function beyond mere hardware amp they have to be willing to support said software for as long as one can expect amp to be around. We paid for this software as a function of the amp.
I would be really upset if I just bought Code Amp recently and couldn't use the Gateway app. And we shouldn't have to scour the internet to sideload the app from a third party site. If issues with Google Play store then have app available directly from Marshall. Plus change the website to reflect this not direct it to Play Store.
Good support and communications from a company is key to ensuring repeat business when issues arise.
Ok done with my tangent... Have a nice day.
The problem still remaining also here from Greece
Dear Marshall-Team,
I wonder why nobody isresponding to this issue/problem?
Zelfde probleem hier. Nieuwe gsm maar app weg ... ???

i used a apk site to download the marshall gateway app (uptodown)
you need to change some saftey issues on your andriod phone first so it will be able to download "external" app's ..
This is strange! I got the same problem also (located in Germany)! Hopefully Marshall will fix it soon......maybe they are preparing for an update?!
you can download it here (at your own risk): marshall-gateway.en.softonic.com/android
There are plenty of APK repositories with a good reputation such as APKPure where I downloaded the app.

We should be carefull about installing apps from unknown sources. It could contain malware, virus, etc.
In my opinion, Marshall should give some explainations or publish a new version.
