DSL40C with Line 6 Pod 2.0

Hello, I know this has been covered here and I have read all of the messages, but I would like some newer feedback regarding my newly purchased DSL40C implimented with a Line 6 POD 2.0.

I realize you can't shut off amp modeling and that to achieve the least amount of colorization, and preserve my Marshall tone as much as possible, I should set the POD 2.0 to Tube Preamp, and EQs to 12 o-clock, which shuts off Cabinet Simulation.   I want to use the POD 2.0 because it has a bunch of presets I use, which I will modify and it gives me multi effects with a Pedal.

How should I route this, given the effects send on the DSL40C is probably line level, and has no attenuator. The POD 2.0 has instrument in and I presume Instrument out. I know it will run -10 and +4 when using TRS. I will say I don't see any documentation on the DSL40C loop.

This is my first Marshall setup and need advice from you gurus.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Our recommendation would be to run this through the FX Loop, if you are still having issues, contact our team at jgreen@marshallamps.com
