Hi, I am for the most part a beginner, I have dabbled through the years and decided to give it another go. Anyway I bought the code 25 I always wanted a Marshall but after about a week the amp makes a constant ticking noise? Any thoughts as to why?

I noticed mine was doing the same thing then I realized my phone was always very nearby.  Once I moved my cell phone no problems.

Thank you Jeff, the phone was the culprit. - Michael Savatakis 02 Feb 2019 at 08:52 PM

Hello Michael,

Regarding your CODE25, if the amplifier is switched on with nothing plugged in can you still hear a ticking noise? and do any other of the controls alter the ticking?

Kind Regards

Thank you for replying, the ticking is present without anything plugged in, as well as none of the controls affect it. - Michael Savatakis 25 Jan 2019 at 11:14 AM
The ticking may be coming from the processor so we would recommend that you take the unit back to the dealer it was purchased through so it can be looked at by an engineer.
