Marshall Code 100 Combo mains hum

Hi Team Marshall,

My Code 100 combo has a constant mains hum wherever I have it plugged in, even without any guitar/lead plugged in.

Is there a fix or work-around for this as is very distracting when practicing etc?

Strangely, this doesn't come through when using headphones, but the volume is much lower when using them!

I do not have this issue with other amps or audio equipment plugged in!

Hi Team Marshall, I have visited the shop at GAK in Brighton where I purchased the Marshall Code 100 Combo and the manager demonstrated that his Code 100 Combo and other Code amps have the same background hum, so will stick with this for now, and maybe consider selling this amp and replacing it with a Code 100H and 4x12 cab as this model is quieter going by all the feedback in the forum - 06 Apr 2019 at 09:19 AM
