Marshall Code 100 Volume issue

Hi,

My Code 100 amp just dies off in the middle and comes back all of a sudden the volume just fades off for a while and it comes back at will. Even turning off the amp and on does not solve the issue but somehow after a while it becomes normal again. It seems to be some sort of a volume issue... When I crank the master volume knob to full , I hear faint sounds of my guitar. It comes back after a while automatically but then stops again at random.

I’m not expert but I don’t think Its the Amp. I’ve had these issues before and it could be a bad cable or output jack. - 04 Sep 2020 at 10:47 PM

Hi Dave,

I tried with different cables which work perfectly on other Amps, still does not solve this issue. Also if it was an issue of the input cable , I should be able to hear any backing track I play through my PC into the Amp. unfortunately all volume dies with this. - 06 Sep 2020 at 11:37 AM

I had the same issue, Marshall repair center changed the power supply transformer
