Hello Ewing,

The speaker is a 4 ohms 25 watt non branded speaker.

Hi,
Do you find the informatión?
Some people say the nominal impedance of the speaker is 4Ω Ohms.
And it's stock speaker no brand name.
I sent an email to Marshall, but they don't answer me.
Greetings

Really thanks, I was looking for this information.
I want to upgrade the speaker in my Marshall Code 25. But I need to know the impedance.
Now with your info, I will looking for a 4 ohms speaker.
Did you swap your stock speaker, any suggestion?

It's a solid state amp. The stock speaker is rated at 4 ohms. The amp is rated at 25 watts into 4 ohms. Using an 8 ohm speaker will reduce power output to 12.5 watts. A 16 ohm will reduce it to 6.25 watts. Being a solid state amp, it is not dangerous to the amp to use a higher impedance speaker.

I am considering a change to a 16 ohm because I do not need more than 6 watts of power for my situation. If I switch it will likely be a Celestion G10 Greenback. Not sure what the impact will be on the cab models, but I may not even need them with a proper guitar speaker in the cabinet.
